About Us

Choose Club Meow cattery in Redvale for peace of mind care for your cat while you are away

If you are looking for a local cattery to leave your cat while you are away, talk to Club Meow Cattery on the North Shore. Our semi-rural property has two purpose-built ‘cat motels’ with excellent indoor/outdoor flow, a large outdoor area and lots of climbing poles and toys for stimulation.

Our cattery costs are affordable and we offer a range of foods, but if your cat is on a special diet we are happy to store, manage, and feed using your food without charging an additional fee. If your cat is on a specific diet or has a medical condition we need to adhere to, you can trust us to provide your cat with its known routine. The same applies if your cat requires daily or weekly medication – our compassionate staff have many years of experience caring for a range of cats with individual needs. That’s what makes us different.

Club Meow was the original brainchild of Margaret Judd

Margaret was well known on the North Shore for her many years of volunteer work for a cat rescue organisation called Feline Rescues.

After building a reputation on the North Shore as a cat lover Margaret established Club Meow and hit the ground running. Margaret’s friend Michele came on board under Margaret’s direction and has managed the boarding cattery for a number of years now. Surita and Pieter Nel took over the business in April 2021 and still continue with Michele as the Manager, and Trish.

After 15 years Club Meow is still going strong. We welcome new guests as well as old to trust us with your four-legged family members. This will ensure you can head off on your holiday with peace of mind knowing that your cat in good hands at their pet hotel.

Your beloved feline family will feel safe and comfortable in our warm, clean and spacious cat boarding rooms

Is your cat used to space, light and the outdoors? If so, they will feel right at home at Club Meow. Our cat boarding areas have been designed to maximise all three for added comfort and enrichment for your cat, no matter how short or long-term their stay is. Let us know a little bit about your cat so we can select the perfect cosy nook for her or him.

You can choose from:

  • one of 11 purpose-built single rooms, each with their own fully-enclosed outside space
  • a safe and comfortable sleeping spot in our large communal room
  • a more private sleeping spot in one of our medium or small-sized communal rooms
  • you can also hire out a complete room if you have multiple cats (pending availability).
Your cat can also make use of a big outside area which looks out over the section. This area is fully enclosed to ensure your cats safety.

Whether you are new to Club Meow or you have used us in the past, please take a look at the steps below to familiarise yourself with our check in procedure.

  1. Check in – this may involve filling in a form and a brief chat.
  2. Vaccination check – please bring your cat’s vaccination booklet with you for our staff to check. Learn more about vaccinations, their importance, and our cattery prices.
  3. Room check in – our staff will show you and your cat to your cat’s room. After big snuggles, you are free to enjoy your holiday.
  4. We like to leave your cat in their space so they can get comfortable before checking in on them. After a short while, a staff member will hang out with your cat to help them settle in.
  5. Owners Surita and Pieter live on site (in a separate home) so are always around to make sure your cat is okay and our manager Michele loves spending quality time with each cat throughout the day.
  6. If we have any concerns we won’t hesitate to contact you and we will organise emergency vet appointments, if needed.
Club Meow is here to make the process simple and easy. We make sure your cat is settled, healthy and having a good time so you can head away feeling confident and happy.
